I'm so honored to have you at my site and reading my blog post. It's been nearly 8 years since Mariska's Jewelry Designs opened for business. It's amazing how as business owners we can get so hung up on all the details, and we don't let the experts do what they do best. I'm referring to a website. After years of struggle, I finally have a website I'm happy with, thanks to Michael Kramer and his team at Ameravant and SiteNinja. It took me a few years to realize I'm not a website designer, and my expertise is designing jewelry
Let me point out our favorite feature that we think will make your shopping experience easy to navigate, and maybe even fun!
As you arrive at the home page, notice the "shopping by..." options on the right column. What we've done is allow you to shop by individual jewelry groups such as Necklaces, Earrings etc. In addition you can shop by color, gemstone, and price.
A feature we offer that is more likely to match you, is the "Shop by Personality" link. When you click on that link, you're taken to a page where you can complete a simple Personality profile, which will reveal 1 of 4 personality styles that is most like you. We've found that some of us are an even distribution of all personality styles, but most have 2 distinct personality styles.
Why is that important? It's our way of connecting with you without a face to face interaction. The personality/beauty profile we've created is compiled by several different personality profiles, and beauty profiles, and we've condensed it down into a usable questionnaire to assist you in shopping for jewelry. Once you figure out your style, or styles, you can then click on the corresponding category, and see our recommendations based on Your results. This is even helpful for someone shopping for another person, as many of the questions are fairly easy to recognize in another person.
